burning oil, smell?
the past couple times i've driven to see my girlfriend about 45 mins away, after i get off the interstate my car smells like its burning oil but i'm pretty sure there is no smoke coming out of my exhaust. I go about 80 the whole way. It sits around 4-5K the whole way and i redline at 8k. any ideas why it smells like that?
More then likely you have oil dripping onto your hot exhaust. I would get under the car and take a hard look around I bet you find a spot where oil is leaking onto a hot surface
yea, I've looked, i can't really see anything on like my headers or anything. i didn't jack the car up though i just took a quick look. isn't it kinda strange though that i only smell it after i get of the interstate?

Not really, had the same issue with my B16A. You are driving steady at 4-5K, oil is really moving through your motor at those revs and probably leaking out somewhere, most likely the head. T belt side cam seals, dizzy seal, cam end plug (behind VTEC solenoid) and the VTEC solenoid gasket can all leak oil and trickle down to the exhaust. Look where your down pipe bends up front under the oil pan. That spot right there may have oil dripping onto it.
