Most B-Series swapped cars run low 14's to high 14's (depending on driver, traction, etc. and most are on street tires).

I could see you running a 13.5...you have a pretty damn good 60ft time (LSD and slicks) and your trap speed matches up with it. But I'm sure people will still ask to see a time slip.

How much does your car weigh?

actually that sounds ABOUT right......a type r runs maybe a 14.5 or 14.8 somethin around there on stock ecu. since yours is chipped and you have bolt ons and the lsd, not to mention a hell of a lighter car than a teg type-r. so your runnin right around where you should be im pretty sure. someone correct me if im wrong. thats a hell of a time for stock n/a tho.

Sounds right with slicks as most people get high 13/low 14s with type R motors on street tires (we did)

great timing man you got a pretty good combination in that ek. I have seen b18c turbos doing that time and yours is n/a so keep it up

My Type-R in my EG hatch goes mid to low 13's consistently. It isn't totally stock though. But that is normal for that motor, and a good driver.

Most B16'd hatchbacks I've seen run mid 14's-low 15's.

The things that you're not looking at are...

1) B16 transmissions don't have a limited slip differential, Type-R's do
2) B16's are known as the "torqueless wonder"...Type-R's have 20+ lbs/ft of torque more than a B16
3) #2 was comparing a STOCK B16 to a STOCK Type-R

His car isn't stock...he has the basic bolt-on's and a tune on it which does make the car run better (I got my B18C1 tuned with my basic bolt-on's and low comp. pistons and noticed a difference )
4) Did you notice his 60' time? A 2.09 is pretty damn good...which brings me to the point of #4 and back to #1, he has a LSD and on top of that, drag slicks.

That's how his Type-R powered EK is faster than a B16 EK

hey you said b16s are the torqueless wonder..... now if you boosted a stock b16 at 10 lbs would it still be considered that name? jw

Alot of other things have to be considered other than the boost you're running...the tune, for example.

But to answer your question, when you put a turbo kit on any small displacement motor, there is a pretty big gain in torque.
