96' Civic DX Secondary O2 is plugged into the Cat. but nowhere to connect.It's not under the dash so Where IS It???? PLEASE HELP!!!!!

 

that's nuts cus I'm having the same issue! I have a 98 Hatch that has no secondary o2 wiring! Stumped!! Let me know watcha got!

 

ah yes, i had this problem as well. i put the EX head and exhaust and everything on my hatch and put in the complete wiring harness too which had no plug for the second o2. on the Ex coupes the o2 wiring goes right up thru the floor board, kinda under the front part of the passenger seat. never took the time to see if the plug is actually there inside cuz i flipped back to obd1 to do a little tuning. if u find out, let me kno

 

Its there if you have the stock y7 harness. I went thru this issue awhile back when swapping an EX harness, ecu and motor.
If you have the stock y7 harness, the plug for the secondary 02 sensor stems from the same branch that has the primary, their bundled together. Even on the EX harness, it comes from the same stem, but its back a little bit more, from my experience at least. Worse comes to worse, you'll have to do what i did, and manually pin out the 2nd 02 sensor to the ECU if you cant find the plug.

can anyone tell me for sure if a 00 dx hatch has the secondary o2 sensor plug in the interior wiring harness, where it would come through the floor above the cat. because my dx has a metal plate welded there from factory kind of suggesting that there is no plug, because i can't seem to find it either.

and if that is not the case, does the secondary o2 plug ever come on a b series engine wiring harness? i have a 99 si wiring harness completely intact and it doesn't seem to have the plug on that either.. i have to get this wired up to pass ca emissions **** so any help you can give would be highly appreciated
