I already have a mini me swap done but had a head gasket issue so I decided to change it...
I used z6 head studs before but now i decided to by y8 because its cheapers plus thats the head i am using so i figured what the heck....
i just got the head studs and they dont look anything like the z6 heaad studs and theyre 20mm or so shorter!!?

Is this right??

 

theyre different, the y8 studs are alot shorter... this caused me problem, major problems, i dont know if it will cause you any, but i increased my compression way too much and stretched those head bolts out seriously, and stripped the block in the process, im me if you have any questions on what not to do lol..

 

what application did you use the y8 studs on?
