Default B series info needed

I currently have a b18a1 in my 90 Teg LS. It has been built with probe industries pistons, Eagle H Beam Rods (9mm rod bolts), STR Block guard, ARP hardware throughout. All new OEM seals, gaskets, valve train, and cams. Has been runnin great and plan on boosting it soon. Just did compression test 150 accross the board. (Was already built this way when I bought it)

I am really wanting to upgrade my head before I boost. So I am prolly gonna get a VTEC (b16 most likely). And build a good solid valvetrain with ITR components.

Now what I am wondering is about the block itself. Since this isn't sleeved I am wanting to pick up a spare block and have it sleeved. I would really like to jump to a b20 for the larger displacement (spooling). But don;t know if I can use my internals. I wouldn't mind it I had to buy different pistons, but really wanna use my balanced crank and eagle H beams.

What block can I get the largest bore out of. Which ones have oil squirters? Can I add the squirters from a gsr b18 to a b20?

Sorry for all the noob questions. I tried searching but honestly found very little detailed info.

You can use your ls internals in a b20 block, they both use the same crank and rods, the b20 is just a 84mm vs. 81mm for the ls block. Good luck

After searching and reading for the last few hours I have found that all of the b-blocks are capable of the same bore (with sleeving) And that oil squirters only come in the GSR block. And that they are machined in not bolted in like the H-series.

So I have come to the conclusion that I think I will buy a gsr longblock.

Tear it apart and have it sleeved and bored to 84mm. That will get me to the 2.0 displacement. I will swap all my internals over except the blockguard and probe pistons (I will have to get a set of 84mm bore turbo pistons) Completely remove the OEM valvetrain and build one (OMNI or REV or Supertech)
