It was my first time driving a standard at the track. I did like 4 runs my first one was very slow I did a 17.80 I did faster on my 96 sedan non-vtec accord lol.... I guess I need practice...
2nd run I did 16.4
3rd run I did 15.8
4th run I did 16.2
Now my RSX-S is all stock just have a Filter instead of the air box and I put a universal exhaust tip (pretty gay I'm saving up for the Greddy Exhaust)
I wanted to know your time with your mods and if you can give me tips on how to launch the car because I always spin all 1st gear and half of second and I launch at 2k RPM and i try to let go of the clutch slowly... Thanks

yea i did a 15.77 2 times but my 60ft was 2.9 seconds...which is crap...i was a bit paranoid when 2 of my spark plug wires popped off on my first run. and plus i got 2 tires which are treadless...so next time ima have new tires and fix those spark plug wires and hopefully get 14s...i have nology ignition coilpack, dc header, and injen cai
my best time was 15.03 on stock tires. The first time i tried at the track i did a 15.63... went for a second time and got better. stock rsx, completly stock.. hight and everything.... only thing i changed was my tire psi.
Ill try to find the slip and post my 60ft and all that.

Personally, I never saw the point in getting rid of the direct coil-on-plug setup for a setup that uses plug wires. The stock system should be more than sufficient for any n/a setup (or boosted for that matter). Has anyone ever dynoed the nology stuff and showed an actual gain (outside of their marketing dept)?

you better be able too. Theres a guy on crsx hitting 13.8's with only cai/rh and hoosier drag radials i think, launching at 5500.

Stock RSX-S w/stock tires should be around 15.0 depending on weather and track altitude.
RSX-S w/CAI and some better tires i've seen as good as 14.4x
RSX-S w/CAI, EXH, testpipe or race header, hondata reflash or kpro and some hoosier DR's or slicks... 13.7x - 14.2
don't forget to take into consideration the weight of your car for those that race with full systems, spare, etc.
