question about S2000 sound system
sup fellas...well i am going to buy an S2K soon and join a whole family of S2K people here....so my question is this....i went to go see a S2K at a dealership...just to go see...and i tested out the sound system and it seems ok with me...but i want something better when i am cruising so i wanted to see wat you guys would recommend? i want to get some good speakers and a amp if possible....and are there speakers behind the seats? to me it looks like it but im not sure.....ive been wanting the S2K since the Fast and the Furious 1 even though that might sound weird....cant wait to join the new honda family
ah the sound system sucks. i believe the 06+ s2000 have speakers in the roll bar but im not sure it is an extra package or if it came out before 06. They make aftermarket speaker holders that go behind the headrest but they are pricey. Personally i would just swap out the door speakers and fabricate my own holders.
Yeah, stock pretty much isn't too good when cruising.
In my 2004 i added the S-Pods in the rollbar hoops and some components. Even running off the stock deck it is a huge improvement.

on stock S's just a replacement of the headunit does wonders....
i replaced mine with a aline headunit, JL audio doors and a 12" sub in custom enclosure in the trunk and she hit real good

There's also a set of OEM ones too that Honda offers.
But I think they both look ugly. I would prefer to swap out the plastic roll bar covers for the 07's that have the build in tweeter/speaker setup in them, it's a lot cleaner.

True that...I went from a Panasonic HU to a SoundStream and got a massive difference. Previous owner had put some Infinity Kappa speakers in the doors.

Ahhh, here we go. Much cleaner. So much better 'looks wise' than those huge bulky ugly looking s-pods.

I would so do this, but they don't offer it with the blue interior.

Yeah they can....they can match any paint color so that when they repair an older car that the paint is faded on it still matches.

Any universal steering wheel control adapter will work. We sell one at Best Buy that works with any steeling wheel control, all you need is a remote for your cd player to program the adapter.
