Port Match Intake Manifold to Throttle Body Q!
I bought a blox IM and a blox 68mm TB..
Should I port match the IM to the TB? I know that a blox IM inlet is 64mm?
So what should I do? And is it true that I can only make the IM 1 mm larger?
So 65mm will be the largest?
I appreciate if yoou guys can help me out with info.

Port matching can help if you're forced induction, but it will only hurt you if you're NA. Having an oversized tb NA will also hurt you.

And yes, I'm serious. Think about this: the H22 comes with a 62mm throttle body stock, and that's a 2.2L engine producing about that much power.

Call the manufacturer to see what they recommend.
In general, you do not need a throttle body that's much bigger than stock, if at all. Only radical N/A builds need a larger throttle body, and even then, it wouldn't need to be much bigger.

A larger throttle body only supports more airflow. Just because you have a larger one, it doesn't mean that it will actually flow more. The only time you need to replace yours is when it is known to be a restriction.
Also, if you're not flowing more air at a particular engine speed, the larger throttle body will cause the air to move slower, which hurts performance. It's a similar reason why you don't want a 4" exhaust on your car.

and people are telling you stock is best???????? power gains are seen running bigger throttle bodies on factory b16a motors (the ones with the 62 mm throttle body sizes)
you'll likley need more air. and the TOO much air = slower movement thing is bullshit that a user that has never built a motor started.
in fact i love it how all these people follow this garbage then bitch about not being able to run 15 seconds in the quater miles..........WTF man i have a tennis ball in my spoon exhuast for back pressure and a restrictor plate on my TB why doent my motor make any power?????

i called inlinefour today and they told me the max they can port match a aftermarket intake manifold is 1 MM higher.. so basically 65mm is the highest they can go..... I don't get it.

I didn't say stock was best; I said call the cam manufacturer and see what they recommend. I know nothing about the cams (including the brand). It also depends on the intake manifold plenum volume. If the plenum is smaller, the throttle body can be larger.
Also, I didn't say that too much air = slower movement. I said too big of a cross-sectional area and and equal amount of air = slower movement. If the throttle body is not a restriction, then there is no need to upgrade it. If it's too big, you will lose power.
As far as the "user who never built a motor" and "in here there are alot of ricers" comment: you're 19. I guess you're the all-knowing expert, huh?

DDD4114 did a great job
But sadly to say i dont think the message went through to Lay's. But hopefully someone will look at this thread and learn something about it. As for Lay's you could have whatever throttle body and intake manifold you want. Since you dont seem to listen to what you should do (call the manufacturer and see what they recommend for your set up).
On a personal note. I dont considerer anything that can run off pump gas a fully built motor. Its a nice build and thats about it. 11.5 c/r and sk2s2 i dont think your in the 250whp range. I would go with a 65mm TB
