I needed to put some orange fire sleeves on my AC lines that are right in front of my turbo manifold. I didn't know what size they are. I know one is bigger than the other though.

Also, how many feet of fire sleeve would i need to cover it from the ac compressor to the top of the hose.

Its the two hoses coming from the compressor.

theres two hoses, and one is thicker than the other.

 

the smaller of the 2 lines is probably 5/8" so that would be a -10an.

so -10 and -12 ? anyone else want to confirm it!

 

just measure the OD with a caliper.

 

ask muckman about the hose sizes........he has some custom a/c lines that he fabricates and sells....

 

Theres about 4 different sizes there. Just use this chart

*Edit: Just to clarify- AN fittings will not thread onto AC fittings, in case anyone is thinking about trying that.

what about these two hoses comming from the AC compressor. I just need to wrap them in fire sleeves, so they dont burn up. Thanks again!

 

Those are big like 1" and 3/4" OD.
so -16 and -12, maybe get a -10 just in case.

I'll get a -12 so that instead its a little bigger instead of it being too small.
