I don't get why people have to comment on the price.
It's his car, he has every right to price it to whatever he wants.
I'm not taking sides here, just stating valid points

I think the price point is perfect provided you rebuilt your engine with original parts.

people have them for sale on a regular basis but couldn't imagine selling mine....I'd seriously be depressed.
Although they are rarer than the R, I decided to go look up what a grand national gnx goes for these days.....around 50k! Although I wouldn't expect an R to appreciate to this level in the next 20 years I expect the value will eventually rise above the original MSRP. I was shocked to find out that my first car....'65 dodge dart GT now goes for 15k in mint condition. Selling to a guy in a Wal-Mart parking lot in Missouri for $150 was a really dumb idea in hindsight.
In another 20 years I'll be one of those people taking a car they've owned forever on Sunday drives....'cept I'll be in an R
Updating pics......unnecessary. Sure, the cars and tree aren't necessarily helpful in keeping the car as the focal point but I would wager some money that updating pictures would have little, if any, impact on selling price, how long the car will be on the market or ability to attract potential buyers. Hell, this pic of the gnx for sale isn't anything to write home about it http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...wItem
$500 bet that if he were to market his car on a different website with better pics he wouldn't sell it any faster or at a higher price or attract more potential buyers.
Who's up for a friendly wager?
Good lord people......

It was posted in a *discussion forum*, so there's nothing wrong with discussing the content (asking price, condition, etc.). If this was posted in FS forum (or stickied FS threads) then it's a different story.
To the original poster, good luck with the sale!

Totally disagree, especially with a car such as an ITR. I'd say most people on this forum went out of state to pick up their R. Doing so is a bigger risk than being able to see it in person, drive it, and get it inspected before the purchase. So having more pictures, the better.
Also, I am very picky when buying a car. If I'm browsing the classifieds, I won't even look at an ad if there is no picture. Even if they have a picture, it's got to be presented right. (I'm sure I'm not alone here.) I'm not looking for a pro. photoshopped pic or anything, but how hard is it to take some good, clear pictures from at least 3 different angles of the car? (front, side, back) If you've noticed some of the pictures in autotrader, HT and ebay, you wonder if the people are coherent when taking the pics.
Anyway, back to topic, I think it'd be wise to take more pictures of the exterior, interior and engine bay. Post here and on itrca as well.
