Your transmission might be going bad. When was he last time you had your transmission fluid changed? A change of that might help. It is usually recomended to do so, every 12-15k miles.

Any CEL? Potential problem with the torque converter. I had an issue with a 96, replaced all the modules externally, next step in the service manual was to replace the converter and after that, the transmission. This was a factory service manual.

Hey thank you. I for some reason bwtween 20- 40mph the transmission shakes the car really bad until it shifts into third gear. Do you maybe think the tranny is going bad?

Any CEL's (Check Engine Lights)? If so, is it a P0740? P0700 will always come up if there is any type of transmission problem, so ignore that one. It should list 2 codes if you have a problem. Have you tried to run the car to red line in each gear while manually shifting the automatic? I'm not saying stomp on it, but accelerate slowly and build power, when you are close to the red line manually shift to the next gear. Perhaps it's a power issue to the transmission and so the transmission is hunting for gears because it doesn't know what to do. I'm assuming the transmission is in fair condition with clean 'Honda only' ATF.
