Default Was there a B16 made specifically for the EF or 4th gen cars?

I stumble on an engine every so often that makes me scratch my head a bit. Usually listed as 1988-1991 civic B16, OBD0, cable trans. It's usually something that leads me to believe that it came that way, and the seller isn't promoting it as a swap. As in bolt in, right down to the motor mounts on any car that also came with mpfi.

Was a B16 ever delivered factory in the EF cars? I thought that was 5th gen stuff, hydro trans obd1, etc.

I'm wondering if the guy just doesn't know what he has, or if it's me that doesn't know. So here I am asking about it.

Just about the time I think I'm wrapping around all this Honda stuff, I get tossed in the air again...

You read it wrong. Mister I'm in to big a hurry to make the noob look like a dink to actually read what he wrote.

I said "...Just about the time I think I'm wrapping around all this Honda stuff, I get tossed in the air again..."

This means I'm starting to get it, I'm wrapping around it. I didn't say I had it Wrapped up. Because I sure don't feel that way.
