98 Civic DX Hatch 1 owner 121K 5 speed Clean title No mods completely VIRGIN
New Price 5600.00
I have a 98 Honda Civic Hatch DX for sale.
This is a very clean civic purchased NEW by the current owner. She is a 73 year old lady. She is only selling because she bought a truck.
She has every receipt of every service done and alway by a Honda dealership. Most of them at our local dealership. I have and buyer will get all of these receipts as well.
Timing belt, water pump was replaced in 2005 when I was working at the dealership and I got to drive this car then.
She makes her own seat covers and have been on this car since day one. The seats and carpet show NO wear or sun fade because of this. The only bad carpet is in the hatch because she has a full size spare and a temp tire also. She even made a bag to carry the jack and supplies in.
The color is black and has a few dings on the top. One on the left side and one or two I saw on the pass. side. I took pics of all of them and the white mark on the pass side can be removed.
This is stock down to a honda air and oil filter, spark plugs and wires. Mobil one 5w/30 at every oil change because thats what our H dealer carries.
She just put brand new tires, brakes on this car along with some other stuff to get it ready for selling. She is not hurting for the money and is patient. Title is in hand.
If you need financing then get it before dealing. Cash talks.
Asking price is 5600.00 and that is a fairly firm price. I know Blue Book on these in Excellent condition is 5200.00 but good luck finding one not riced out.
I am willing to deliver this car up to 400 miles if need be and would like to end up in Dallas so I can pick up another car at the same time. Payment must be made in full before I will deliver this. Car is registered in Texas so it will be a simple process to title in that state. Also very easy to title in New Mexico or any other state if buyer is willing to have it shipped.
Pictures:

Battery terminal needs to be cleaned up a little and a good washing under hood will clean this up to look new.

Maybe if you cleaned the car up some, wash and wax it, vaccum and clean the interior, and clean the engine bay, you might get $4500. I still think that's a little high for a dx with over 120k, but that's just my opinion. Good luck with the sale.

Oh yeah, price includes shipping/delivery. Plus its already registered in Texas and smogged so that right there is about 500.00 saved for the buyer.

BUMP, for an HONEST man and a great guy to do business with. As far as a one owner car in this good of condition they are scarce!! This looks like a great buy for an unmolested car.
Appreciate it Nabin and 20_sec. The guys in DFW that know me or have done business with me will know I am honest and stand behind my word. I don't put crap out there at baller prices like some do.
If you are interested in this car. Send me a PM and/or your number we can talk.

Yeah don't really have alot of vouches there buddy.
Honda-tech may be land of lowballers but word spreads like wildfire of whats available.
This is the cleanest most stock ek I have seen to date. Everybody bashes the price but I see no offers either. Other than the occasional "I will give you 2K for it" because I live with mommy and daddy and work a part time job 18 hours a week making 5.75 an hour.

Lowered price a little. Getting closer to when I am going to Dallas for my last trip there until spring time.
Also have a 92 prelude shell up for sale that will be in a different thread.

If you actually read down this far. I will be in DFW November 10th and can bring this car with me.
If someone paid me 5300.00 for this car I would bring it with me since I will be there anyways. That is the bottom most dollar that I could possibly take. Would like to sell this car for the lady that owns it. She is a very nice person.
If anyone is interested please pm me with your name and phone number and I will return the call.
Thanks

I would understand the price if the miles where way lower, but to pay that much for this car, even though it is nice, is not worth what you are asking. The paint may be shiny, but I'm sure there is a nice ding, scratch, or scrape here and there. The interior plastic I'm is all beat to hell and back. The engine will most likely be rebuilt or replaced, so your basically asking over 5 grand for a shell. Honestly the most I see the car going for is at most $3500-$3750. I think most people on this board don't care if a car has mods as long as its tastefully done. I got my car for $5500 and it already has lowering springs, a B18C swap, the interior was in great condition, and the exterior was repainted. After close inspection I don't think I could have done it any better myself. I'm not trying to insult anyone, but lets be reasonable.
Thats fine. This car has had all work done at local H dealer and when I worked there back in 05 I worked on this car as well. This car will need a rebuild of the engine at about 450,000 miles if treated how it has been for the first 120k.
This car has not seen redline yet/ever and I would bet a paycheck on that one.
Not everyone wants a modded car either. Maybe someone wants a car to depend on for a long time to come. Hell I have had a few hondas that remained completely stock for over 200,000 miles some closer to 300,000 miles.
I have 1 car I mess with and it is completely stock minus engine bay. No gay bodykits, interior paint.
But whatever floats your boat. Still for sale BTW. and price is somewhat negotiable.

5300.00 if sold by December 7th. Need a reason to get to Dallas to pick up a couple things.
