Default piston to head clearence

okay i have a f22a1 head i have milled it and am now looking for what size headgasket to use. problem is i am trying to find what clearemce i need betwwn the valves and the pistons. there should be a way to measure the head itself

i hear everone say to take off .045 . but i have no idea what stock measurement is cuz mine is milled already

If this is the second time milling the head I would definitely clay the motor. Claying the motor is your best way to check your piston to head & valve clearances.

As noted on in this tutorial 0.035" is what they deem as a good piston to valve & head clearance.
