2 gen CRX badges
Did the 2gen CRX's have the badges on the back if they were HF's?? Also, do any of you know which number (or letter) in the VIN would identify what year the car was made?
I'm a little perplexed. I thought I had a 1990 CRX DX but it says PGM-FI.....when I look at resource.crx.org, none of the 1990's had PGM-FI, but the 88's did and the 91's did....was this just a misprint on the website or what?
Any help would be great, thanks.

should be easy to tell if its an hf or dx...if it has pgm-fi its not a dx...and if it dosnt have a sunroof...its not an si...problem solved..it has to be an HF
The 10th position identifies the year.
J=88
K=89
L=90
M=91
Check out Quickhonda for a complete breakdown of the VIN number.
They are all PGM-FI. It sounds like a DX to me.

if it says pgmfi, then you should have a dx. the dx is the only model without a "badge" on the back of it. if you have a black intake manifold that says pgmfi it is a dx. if it says mpfi on an aluminum intake then you have either an hf or si.
