It's easy for a quick, estimated conversion...

Drop the 0 after each KMH reading and multiply the first number(s) by 6.

For example: 60 KMH = 36 MPH, 100 KMH = 60 MPH, 180 KMH = 108 MPH.

They are worth no more than the EG6 clusters. You can probably find them for around $100.

Swapping needles isn't a good idea. I have already broken a tachometer doing that.

k=kmph r=mph
k=1.61r
There is your simple algbraic expression to convert MPH to KMPH so reverse it and you can figure out your speed..

Or try to get a UK VTi (almost the same as SIR) They use miles there too.
If you try to remove the needles you wont beable to put them back in.
The stems that hold them on snap.

I have swapped needles before without any troubles. When putting the new one on it almost felt as if there was only one way it went on and it slipped right into place. Maybe I just got lucky.

Hope for the best and go for it.

looks like i have to find a new cluster to try it out on.... the only cluster that would work to put gauge faces over and convert to mph would look to be the spoon one and im def not trying to spend all that on a damn cluster!
