Is this a good deal?

I talked to the owner, he says the body has no rust but the car was in a front accident and there is a new bumper on their. There is no frame damage but there is a scratch on the front fender from getting hit by the bumper. I asked him if he ever replaced the timing belt or water pump when he put the H in and he said no. I didn't ask him if he converted to manual tensioner. What do you think?

Just to recap, it's a 1991 LX coupe with manual transmission, 163,000 miles. The asking price is $3,700.
No, that's not a good deal.
For the sake of comparison, you can buy a new '08 LX with manual transmission for under $20,000 and of course then have a warranty, have a *much* bigger car, and of course get the color you want.
Or take a look at the '08 Civic LX, it's going to be very comparable in size to that '91 Accord.

I was comparing it to the price of a new car to show how absurd the price is.
Check the value of this car on http://www.edmunds.com , I'm seeing the following values:
Trade-in: $472
Private Party: $844
Dealer Retail: $1,470
And that's not even taking into account that the car has been in an accident. The guy is asking $3,700? He's nuts. Just walk away.
