Hey im planing to drop a b18c1 ob2 into my 94 integra ls im curiouse if the integra gsr has more advantage as in speed and reliablity? or would the both pretty much balance out is comparision?

 

So your going to go out and spend 2000 on a motor and you dont even know how to compare HP numbers or use a search feture or read through a FAQ?

Maybe you should gather a little info before you go out spending your money.

He is VERY big into making everyone search... anyways, reliability.. the only reason why the GSR b18c1 would be less reliable, is because people beat the heck out of them because they are quick and fun todrive... where as the stock LS integras are slower.. soo reliability, a honda is a honda, its how you treat it... And yes a GSR b18c1 has 30 more horsepower, has vtec, and is faster, and funner...

 

They're both Honda motors - they're reliable as heck as long as you treat them right (and sometimes even if you don't). Not to mention, the motors are very similar as they come from the same series, displacement, etc.

 

THanks for the inputs....what happen wen people swap gsr motors into a integra ls or gs would that make it basically like owning an integra gsr?

 

There are more differences than just the engine... But you will be just as fast as a gsr pretty much...
