i think you might be better off just buying a jdm amber clock, they run for about 30bucks, instead of trying to make your usdm clock light up amber...

If you try to put a red film over the digital display (after taking it apart), the numbers won't be as bright as the JDM amber clock. Just buy an amber clock.

$30 bucks is alot of money just to buy something you already have but for it to light a different color.
i know there's got to be a cheaper way to do this and have almost the same exact result. is there like a bulb i can buy or a spray i can get to spray the existing bulb i already have.

dude, i got the amber clock last year, for some reason the number are more clear an a lil bigger than the usdm one - just go buy the amber clock, do it right, dont ruin the one you already have, sell it on ebay for $10, some one out there with a DX might want it

TRUST ME - get the amber one, its HAWT

i took mine apart in both my civics and colored the glass lense(not the plastic one) with a sharpie. both cars have been done over 3 years with no fading and both are still plenty bright. the trick is to go over it with the sharpie evenly and in multiple directions. up and down, let dry, then side to side. mine look great.

If you ponied up for the sir cluster just do the same and get the perfect matching one. You can always keep the usdm one around for when you sell your car, then part out your jdm **** on ebay.

any of you got the eg6 sir cluster, i was told that if you took the blue rubber pc in the bulb on the back the cluster, it should light up a bit brighter. because mine right now is very dim.....any help?
