Default cricket in my motor

I hear a cricket when the engine is at idle. It is hard to pinpoint the location where the noise is coming from, at first I thought it was an alternator bearing but it also seems to come from the other side of the engine. Anyone had this happen?
It's a D16y7 with only 73k miles, manual tranny. All the belts are new.
