ECU REMOVAL
Yea I tried posting pics on here...not working...tried to i serve thing..costs money....is there anyway besides that to get pics on here??????
anyways.....my question is about the ECU...I've never removed one from the car and was wondering if there was any heads up on it I should know about before unbolting it from the chassis....i'm repainting my EFs interior so its gotta come out.....hopefully i can unplug the wiring harness directly from the ECU, but I wanted to check here first before i screw up anything.... also I wanna remove the pedals in the car and was curious on how I should go about doing that?????
I'll post pics if someone will explain to the moron how this site works.....

welcome to ht.
like stated above. for the pedal assembly its better to search in the FAQ's or using the search feature. better yet, since the search feature sucks here, use Google, go to advanced search, and type in pedal removal in the subject you are searching on, then where it sais domain little more to the bottom type in honda-tech.com. then it will give you a bunch of replies. hopes this helps

Using the Image option to insert linked images directly into your document. These images must be on a web server on the Internet. Images linked from your local computer will not function correctly.
To insert an image, provide the Internet URL to the desired image, select the URL with your cursor, and then click the Image option on the text formatting toolbar. For example, if the desired image's URL is http://www.yourserver.com/picture.jpg, you would provide this URL and then click the Image button to insert the appropriate [IMG] tags around the image URL.
If file attachments are enabled on this ZeroForum site, you may also be able to attach an image file directly from your computer to this post. Via this route, images do not have to be hosted on an Internet web server to be displayed.

ECU REMOVAL
1.) Pull back carpet underneath glove compartment.
2.)Remove ECU cover plate
3.)Unbolt the 4 10mm nuts holding down the ECU.
4.) Remove harness plugs from ECU. Make sure to pull from the plug, and not the wire's. There should be a tab that you push down on, and then pull.
