Default Hood doesnt close with a DA radiator?

Alright i got a 90 civic si my radiator messed up so my buddy let me have one that he had laying around, did some searching found that I just had to buy new hoses or modify the DAs so i did, but now the hood wont close, the latch will reach to stay closed but it doesnt reach to where it locks in place. Do i have to modify anything to get it to lock in place or get a Ef radiator?

If it doesnt fit then you obviously have to modify something to make it fit.

You could also do the ghetto lean, it's not as nice as stock but works. I've got the stock crossmember so my rad is just sitting on it and leaned back.
