i have a clarion head unit and it's about 2 years old. all of sudden no sound comes out of my speakers the unit is on but no sound. i've checked all the connections at the speakers and the one for the head unit. anyone know what is wrong? thanks!

 

hmm other than rechecking the connections, fuses, and the wiring harness, connection to speakers... I know this sounds stupid but is it on mute? maybe the internal amp died.. happened on my friends Clarion.. I don't remember the exact model number of his.. it was the model right below the 9575 or whatever that model was that had dolphin screen savers and such..

it's not on mute. so it might be the unit? i was thinking about just buying another one but i don't wanna buy it and it still does the same thing. any other ideas? thanks!

 

well you can always swap units (or put in one of your speakers) temporarily w/ one of your homebois cars to verify its not the speakers.. but I seriously doubt all 4 speakers would die at the same time.. after re-checking the wiring harness, and all power, and speaker connections.. then you can prolly figure its the head unit.. check and recheck the wiring and the wiring harness though... or take it to a shop if you want I'm sure they won't mine checking it out and selling you a new unit lolz..
