b series distributor question

Default b series distributor question

I'm am about to buy an OBD1 B series distributor is there any way i can tell for sure if it's a V tec dizzy?

It will bolt up. The ears are in different locations between the ls and the vtec dizzy, Because of the vtec selonoid.

I dont' have an OBD1 non v tec to compare it to just my old b16 distributor. Are there any other markings on it that are idenifiable?

The pegs on the distributor will align on vtec head. The non vtec dizzy will not align on the bolts so you will have to cut one peg off to fit non vtec dizzy on vtec head.
