Any modifications to your MAF? And do you know how much X charges for his intakes?

no i didnt do any thing to my MAF i just took the MAF housing from the top portion of the air box the (hardest part of mod unless you have a good dremel tool) its really easy to do and much much cheeper then spending 250 bucks on some shinny piping the HKS filter cost me 80$ at super autobacs and the blue coupler cost me 7$ and autozone

I think I read $300 shipped, which IMO isn't a bad price at if it really does get the 12ish WHP promised. I think I read it's about 3 hours to modify the MAF housing alone, plus along with parts (oem = money I guess) and shipping, he's not really charging too much.

i believe u are correct, the sensor itself is untouched, just the housing and vanes are modified

it just happens that i run the dyno at my shop

we tuned my buddys h22 civic and it seemed really down on power, so i took the 3 month old hks filter off and put on an aem dry flow.. this is the difference

i didnt test the dry flow vs no filter on this car, but i did on a customers turbo car that was making around 375hp, the dry flow made zero difference. for comparison, a k&n will usually cause the turbo to spool a little slower and cost about 5-10hp at that level.

This is my attempt on an intake after almost hydrolocking my car with an aem cold air, all I did was cut the cold air tube up and added some hose clamp and bam dont, no cel and no problems with over 100 miles on in!
