I have a d16y8 and i have already ordered the skunk2 intake manifold and i had a quick questiong. On the thermostat housing of my motor there is a vacume line coming off of it into the stock intake manifold on the d16y8. Now i have looked at the pictures of the skunk2 intake manifold and i see no port on it for this vacume line at all. what do i do?

 

Ok, i have found that the 97-98 d16y8 intake manifold DO NOT come with the valve idle assis vacume port on the intake manifold. While the 99-00 d16y8 manifolds do. If the skunk2 manifold does not come with this port i am thinking that i will just plug up the ports on the valve idle assist and take off the vacume lines. Thanks for the help honda-tech.

 

just curious but are you using your factory TB or going with a bigger one??? I just put a blox intake mani. & I orderd a bigger TB. I ported the manifold to match the TB but I am haveing sum problems using the factoryt TB until my TPS sensor comes in. Just 2 give u a heads up.
