Got an option to add this to the fleet. Would probably want to drop in a prelude motor, and do it all cheap enough to enter into next years grassroot motorsports challenge.
Questions are as follows
can I use the stock civic si tranny with the h22a motor? is that a good match for a close gear fast acceleration and low top speed?
what LSD's mount on the si tranny?
Whats a stock civic si engine worth to sell?
what is the curb weight of a si?
what size front and rear brakes come stock with them?

Suggestions for it?

no you can't. the si tranny is a d series and the h22a motor is, well, a h series. you would have to use the h22a tranny.

 

the GRM challenge looks really cool, I just hope i can do it

what's your budget? it is not worth putting in an H22, especially if you have to turn someday.

 

1: i highly doubt it bolts up
2: si L3's are quite ncie but zc trans is slightly better, neither will bolt to an h22
3: good question i dont know
4: long block is aprox $250
5: depending on year between 2300-2600lbs
6: small 10" diamater rotors i believe
