Default New Car

Well i am new to this forum as you all can see. Well i am picking up my new 08 fiji blue si coupe from the dealer on the 25th of this month. and i have been looking into all the forums about the car but have not really got the answer i wanted.

What is a good break in time for the engine once i get the car?

Are people having problems with short ram intakes in si ? I see a lot of talk about the car running lean. i personal dont want to do cold air since my car will be a everyday driver and i have already hydro locked my 97 civic once before.

I am looking into going intake, header, exhaust and flash with in 6 months. any ideas on what to get ?

Kevin

600 miles for the break in and, if i remember right, without quick acceleration and quick decceleration. you can verify all this in your owner's manual.

Sorry, but owners manual trumps random website every time.

I brought mine up soft til about 750 miles. I've also only ran synthetic mobil 1 through it since the first change.

I CAN and HAVE gotten 32mpg highway if I drive it right. (usually 65mph, early shifting... usually around 2.5k)
