watsup guys, ive had my civic for about 10 months now and have just done exterior mods. i was wondering about engine mods. ie. Intake? i heard it voids the warranty and im just wonderin, about you guys with engine mods. ur warranty is void?
from what i know, if you've replaced your headunit and you have a wiring problem, honda will void your warranty because you have an aftermarket headunit, the same works with an intake, for example - they will say that because you have an intake, your engine blew, or whatever.
if you're really worried about your warranty, keep it stock. most of us here don't care about that because we can fix whatever goes wrong with the car... if not we can pay to do it and not get the runaround from honda since that's what they are known for.

yes, many people do that, put everything back to how it was, then take it in...i haven't heard of many people needing to go for honda except for transmission troubles and most of the time they blame it on "wear and tear"...
i think you'll be fine, just know that the intake will only give you sound and no performance gains...

the only warantee work ive had to do is airbags. no complaints despite my interior mods.
still prolly best if you wait to modify if your worried about voiding your warrantee.
