advancing timing
if i were to advance my timing by moving distributor will it really help and also is it true if i were to advance it i would have to use high octane fuel all the time

Advancing does help, until it starts knocking, higher octane retards the knocking until a higher advance, even better, if your engine has a knock sensor it may very well feel the knock and retard your advanced timing and higher octane right out of the picture, no KNK sensor and blow up your motor, or at least one piston. Get a tunable ECU, have a MAP built and dyno it, you can tune a MAP but you cant tune a fish.
so i should just leave it how it is instead of moving it and mess something up right now its on the middle line in the pulley you know like how there is 3 lines ||| mines in the middle one is that good
right now my timing is at 16 the middle line from the 3 lines if i move it to 18 which is the line closest to front bumper of car that will be advancing right just like how it shows in pic
