Anyone ever make a custom throttle cable?
If there are aftermarket cables available they're probably not common (I know I've never seen any). However, making your own should be pretty easy if you just splice your custom cable with the other original parts. You could most likely find the cable you need at a hardware store.

a civic is not worthy enough for things like that, what are you trying to do??

Hey that might just work.
I sell remote control cars and stuff.
I could use a servo and a radio along with a receiver.

i have shortened a couple by making a stainless steel slug that had a chamfer and cutting the excess out of the cable and tig welding the cable to the slug. that slug was on the pedal end.
