Gotta kill some orange peel...
Anyone have a good way of dealing with orange peel without repainting the peice?
My S had the front bumper resprayed when it had the lip put on, but jack *** that owned it before me took it to maaco and they did an *** CRAP job on it. They didn't even tape off the emblems. The whole front bumper is covered in orange peel.
Any ideas?

wet sand with 1500, then 2000 then buff with compund, polish/cleaner, then hand glaze... just be careful.. if they used single stage at maaco you dont wanna go thru the paint
It will probably look better to just have it resprayed and do it right. I've seen maaco paint jobs peel off so bad. Do it right if you can, if not wet sand and buff like has already been said. Good luck
is it a single stage or bc/cc system? if its single stage you would want to avoid sanding at all cost. it will take off the uv protection.
if its a bc/cc system then wetsanding is the best method of removing orange peel.
