your going to need a custom tranny mount and a hydro to cable conversion kit....and BANG, your back up to $750.00+ now with the cost of the tranny. Good buy on the tranny but overpriced to install one into a cable EF IMO. If your planning on keeping the Rex, just trade your Hydro for a cable ys1 or you may get lucky with an LSD equipped ys1! even better. This way is bolts right up w/o having to mess with custom setups you don't need. I'm pretty sure you could even put the hydro gsr internals into any 92-93 LS tranny and still be cheaper than going w/ hasport or whoever else.

Ya, if you could find a ys1 with screwed up gears that would be cheaper. The gsr gears will go into a ys1 case.

Well if your B18a1 Ls tranny is a 92-93 then you could take your GSR gears and put them inside the LS case, this way you have a GSR tranny that bolts right up w/o the need of a custom mount. To run the Hydro GSR case you need the Hydro to cable kit and custom mount. I'm saying just swap internals since you already have both trannys, get it now??
