I know in the EK/EM chassis w/ the Full-Race 4" downpipe you have NO room for your scatter shield or puller fan. The damn downpipe runs almost right behind the 1/2 size radiator and keeps that **** boiling hot. We had to wrap my friends and run a bigger pusher fan b/c he had such high coolant temps. It wasn't even worth him spending the money on the Full-Race 4" downpipe b/c it needs so much readjusting to fit the scatter shield. You might as well pay someone to make you a custom 4" downpipe.

Also Jeff or Barone-how did you pivot or angle your 1/2 radiator like that? Did you make a custom bottom mount?? Does it still cool just as well half of the radiator is covered by the headlight and core support??

True and not so much.

DC2/EG Chasis have the same situation, but it's doable. The Mazworx/IPG Scatter-Shield allows clearance for the downpipe.

Mount the fan on the outside of the radiator and run it as a pusher. I didn't re-adjust any piece of the downpipe, and although it's tight, it definitely fits.

Cool we'll try the Mazworx scatter shield. But yeah we've already ran the car and all and we already have the pusher fan on it.

you should see it now lol

i have no clearence issues with the downpipe and the scatter shield, but i have the deist shield. i can fit the rad with a pusher fan in the stock location, but movved it for improved cooling. its an 99 ek chassis too
