Default CRV = no blower

No blower at all. I checked both the 15a (I think) fuses underhood that looked like they may be for the blower motor with no luck. No heat, no air, no fan, no nothing. Any advice on quick stuff to check? This is a co-workers car and I wanted to check the quick stuff before he paid to have it fixed.

Probably your resistor. It is to the left of your blower under the dash and has a 4 pin connector plugged into it and it is held on by 2 screws. It is pretty common...

Thanks for the reply. Oh well, if it isn't a fuse, I'm not in the business of fixing coworkers cars for free.

It's an 02, not sure what model. I know in my Civic I've got a fuse, a relay, and the blower motor, but wasn't sure what else there was in a CRV. They apparently have A/C filters as well, which I definately don't have.

The resistor that was refered to is probably a transistorized resistor setup if you have auto air, its in the air stream after the blower motor. Unplug the motor plug, turn on the switch, see which wire gets 12 volts, plug the plug back into the motor, ground the other wire, no motor, buy motor, no voltage to begin with, more troubleshooting, if the motor works, probably the transistor deal, I would want to diagnose a little more though, it is a common problem.

Does this little thing control HI speed, the old resistor did not, so if HI does not work, get a wire diagram to prove it out.
