Default Good welders, the people, not the machines, what do they cost?

If i had a design for a manifold, piping and mounts and i needed them replicated what would i expect to pay?

im really just looking for a ballpark.
the manifold would be a typical tubular turbo manifold for a straight 6.
brackets would be mounts that let you put x motor in y car for example.
piping is just typical intercooler piping.

I would have a basic version tack-welded up that they could use to disassemble and replicate cuts with.

what info can i provide you with to help you better estimate?
can you provide estimates for the materials too, (various metals)

again, a ballpark would be awesome.

You are going to find a HUGE range here. It will be best for you to work with someone local to you so that you can actually show someone what you want. Especially if there are any deviations from the original plan - which there usually are.

Anywhere from 30-150 an hour.

Depending on the place and what type of metal needs to be welded

stainless for the maifold.
painted steel for the mounts.
im not sure what would be prefered for the i/c piping, wastegate tube, intake tube, or downpipe should be made of.

any reccomendations?

Your best bet would be the bid the work out. I'd be interested, but there would have to be a minimum setup purchase to start. I wouldn't spend the time to only do it once or twice. I'd want to bid on 5+ setups off the bat, prepaid.

You'd need to post pics of the entire setup, what you wanted, and be specific on materials, ending quality....all the specifics, then accept bids. The bids should be BLIND too, not made public until bids end.

thats a GREAT ****** idea.
i potentially might need 100+ made, so someone might be in it for the long run, or until they are overwhelmed, heh.
