just want to get something off my chest. about my swap
so i LOVE the technical write ups, and how-tos on this site, the knowledge ive learned on here is priceless, and i could not have done my swap as easily as i did without the things ive read about on here.
now i DID read about doin a swap with out a cherry picker, and just jacking the car up and lowering it onto the motor while the motor is on a dolly or creeper.
WHOEVER SAID THIS IS EASIER THAN AN ENGINE HOIST IS POSITIVELY INSANE. OR HAS JUST NEVER USED AN ENGINE HOIST.
i messed with the motor for 2 hours before i said screw it, and rented an engine crane.
once i had the crane it took LITERALLY 20 MINUTES! to have the motor completely bolted in.
just somethin i had to say. thanks

going in from underneath is easy on a lift, otherwise through the top with a hoist/cherry picker is the way I've always gone
I hear what you're saying man.

I put one through the top one time, installing from underneath is easier IMO but that does mean it makes it right or easier for someone else.
