Check your caliper pins. Remember the 2 12mm bolts that you took off to get to the brake pads? Those two bolts have boots underneath them. The boots hide the pins. Take the 2 12mm bolts back off.
Take off your caliper
Take the pins out their bore. 2 pins per side.
This may require the use of vice grips and a lot of back and forth twisting while pulling.
Dont tear the boots.
Once you have the pins out, clean them with sand paper or a wire wheel till you can see no pitting or rust.
Regrease gernerously with caliper grease.
Reinsert into bore.
Make sure they slide in and out very easily.
Just like having sex....err..without the wirewheel. 12mm bolts optional, though.
