Crower cams are good cams. I haven't had any problems with them.
About installation. If you can do a timing belt you can change cams. Just follow the steps as if you are going to do a timing belt. After everything is removed remove the cam caps and replace the cams. Make sure you lube the cam. Line up the timing marks and put the timing belt back on. Before putting everything back together. Make sure you adjust the valve lash as to crower spec's. Rotate the crank 4 complete rotations, and recheck your timing marks. If everything is well. Slap it together, and hf.
IMO if you feel comfortable ripping your engine apart (Or, can borrow someone who does). And are able to have your car down for a few days. I'd just save up a few more hundred and do a ls-vtec. It will raise your compression, and give you a better cams for just a lil more of your savings. You will be much happier power wise going that route. thats my 2cents.
