HF engine question
HF meaning High Fuel I figured it went with the ecu more or less.
Are there any interchangeable parts between the d series that go with this engine. Also is it possible to put the Si head on and not have to pretty much swap everything out. This will be my dd and I just wanna break 100hp since it's base 90hp.
I'm going to build an ef sedan for the fun car.

I also have an HF and have been looking in to it. From what Ive found tho its a dead end engine to work with. The HF uses an 8 valve head oppossed to the DX and Si 16 valve. I cant rember but I thougth I saw that the head from te Si wouldnt swap on readily. Im no expert tho. Oh and with the HF your pushing around 62 or so hp, DX 90 +-, and Si 109 +-. Along with that the tranny has really long gears ment for gas mileage, or sometimes top end speed. I've spoken with someone else about engine swaps, as far as being easiest. Best bet is one from an Si along with its tranny or a SOHC ZC with an Si tranny and Si ECU. I guess if you use those you can keep the axels from the HF and not have to swa over to larber hubs. But again Im not talking from experince just from what others have experinced and told me.
Sadly that's what I figured, I'm about that have to give up on my project. My wife is nagging about the money for no ******* reason. I am coming home from a deployment plus I re-enlisted. What more do I have to do before she will let me mod a car??
