Default engine bay paint/ ground question

i painted my engine bay, i was wondering if i will have any grounding issues. i was told that the ground on the tranny to engine bay, negative side of battery to bay, and valve cover to bay i would have to scrape the paint off so it would be a good ground. anyone with info would help

thanks

I wouldn't say you "have" to. The paint may cause a break in the circuit if there is no bare metal showing where you should be connecting those ground wires. Just sand off the paint in those three spots and you should be good. You could always try without sanding (don't know why you would, lazy maybe) and see if it causes any start up problems or any brings about any electrical issues. Not to crucial though.
