mid 200's maybe i would at least say 250 and below.. but not 100% about that. i just know when you start making power.. you need to change the clutch because it will not last.

your planning on turboing correct?

stock clutch will not last you ... consider the Competition stage 4 .. its totally streetable and is decently priced ... ive had no issues with it at all and ive im hard on it ... consistent 1.7 - 1.8 60 foot times

and its more then enough clutch for 400 whp and isnt to violent at the sametime .. going overboard with clutches breaks things (tranny)

consider a lsd at the sametime ... (quaife)

Yeah. The first tune should be coming this December, and it will most likely put me around 250-270whp. Next summer, during summer break, i will be building the block and getting it retuned and shooting for 400whp, by that time i hope to have upgraded the clutch/flywheel set up. But i did not plan on upgrading it for the first tune. BTW, the car is not a DD, mainly a weekend driver

A stock clutch lasting all depends on how you drive your car. My stock clutch went quickly after one summer of drag racing the car and it was basically stock... i've since then upgraded to the Exedy stg 2 clutch and now have the Clutch Masters FX400 4-puck.

Need any pricing on clutches, give me a shout.

me= revhard kit @10psi- 230ishwhp

exedy stage 1 with no problems

i highly suggest changing clutch if you are doing any semi-serious power adders. its a PITA job, took me a whole weekend, but worth it in the end

100% agreed. Took out my tranny, changed clutch, pressure plate and put in the dc5-R LSD. Took the whole weekend. I was hating every bit of it.

Now i have another rsx-s i'm not looking forward to changing the clutch and putting in LSD again. Going with a queef i mean quife this time lol. I don't think the stock LSD can handle 500 hp when i get there, so it'd be pointless to go typeR lsd.

Looking to hit 400whp eventually. I guess I plan to rock the stock clutch untill it ***** itself then replace it in the ensuing aftermath. BTW, how much did it cost to get the dc5-R LSD?

How hard is it to install an LSD on an rsx? Is there a DIY anywhere?

i'm not sure i just know 500 hp is to much for an OEM LSD. My guess is maybe 350-400.

Sorry didn't see your post and it's not hard but a PITA because you have to take out the tranny and that's the PITA. I don't know if there is DIY's tho.

You should make a how-to since it's a common question. Even if you don't have pictures. It'll be better than what we have now.

My roommate was the one who showed me how to do it. Came out to be pretty simple. If i get a quaife lsd anytime soon i'll see if i can put one together.
