OK here is the deal...I'm seling my TT 300zx and want to go with a forced induction teg. I want to run mid 13's because that is what I can do in my girlfriend C5. I've heard that the LS takes better to boosting because the VTEC kicks in on the GSR's at about 9lbs. I've also heard that the LS has a thicker block. I am under the impression tht this can be done on stock internals (but maybe not stock axles). On the other hand, there are obviously alot of people here that have boosted GSR's, the only reason I speak of the LS is that there is someone at the tuner I go to who has a drag III, LS combo and it runs beautifully. Let me know what you, more knowledgable people think...Turbo, SC, NOS, all motor/high compression? Thanks in advance for your help. I've ben hanging around this site for a while and I know there are alot of you hitting these numbers. I will probably get the infmous "search" answer a few times, but to those who want to take a minute and offer any helpful suggestions, I appreciate it.

 

i would go boost if i could do it again , but im poor. . . if you go gsr, nos plate kit and fuel upgrades, basic boltons . 13's wont be a problem , just traction will .
you can go 13's if you go the nos route for under $1000 easy. as long as you do it right.
