Default s2000 trouble shooting p0302, misfire

i have a 00 s2000 with 103k, after a week of somewhat heavy driving(no miss shifts/overrev, twice or so off 8k shifts) i got a cel. Scanned it and cly 1 and 2 missfire, general miss fire

The car also has had 2 bad sounding starts, but the car idles faily smooth and is fine threw out the powerband.

Anyone have suggestions as to what route i take with troubleshooting steps.

I changed the plugs after the very first day with the cel ,which at the time was only miss fire on cly2. I put in bosch +4, then had to retorqe them to 20lb, gonna try and check them tommrow.

I've also seen a lot of injector issues with 00/01's..

thanks

I got this same cel, ended up being bent valves due to bad valve guides.

Same things happen to me at only 36k miles, so dont drive it before doing a good check.

using Bosch's are your first problem. Go back to stock NGK's and you should be fine.
