Default What to start off with?

So I just got my gorgeous white 08 Civic SI yesterday. What should I start off on this baby performance wise? I heard intake and stuff doesn't helps barley if any on performace. I was originally gonna do I/E/H but I heard they don't help much if any. What are your guys thoughts on this?

Who told you that? I shaved .4 seconds off my quarter mile time and trapped 5mph faster than stock when I added my intake and RH. Not to mention I also took out a stock '07 Si with my 250lb.+ friend riding shotgun.

The intake by itself won't do much....but once you switch to a RH it makes a significant difference even without a reflash......and the reflash will only make it better.

The two quotes above are 'kind' of right, imo.
OP, you're pretty much correct. The intake and exhaust don't add much gain at all. Pretty much all of it will be in your head, and more of a gain in sound rather than power really. The actual gains come in the RH application, however I suspect that's really most just because you're getting rid of the cat not so much the header that's made for it. I/H/E should gain you about 15 whp, bringing you right up to 200 whp, give or take a few.

If you want to feel anything more than noise, a Reflash is what you need along with boltons. Pray for a KPRO ECU!

take records and pics of every mod you do, i just had an accident today on highway 101 someone rear end me and i was spining out of control and i slamed into the cement front end ..... i ended up going from lane 1 to lane 2 my car is pretty much totaled but yeah i thought i let you for the heads up cuz i dont think i saved everything and i regreat it

as far as your mods I/H/E (actually RH) reflash and some other goodies helps....

big brake kit suspension set up etc etc .... quite costy

congrats on your 08 si how much was it ota?

I got it for 21.7k. They wanted 22.5k since there was a "package plan". The wheel locks, mud guards, trunk thingy, and the butler thing which is proli bs. I told him i didnt want any of it but he ended up dropping the price to 21.7 and giving us the rest for free which is an average price i guess.

u should totally go ahead and get the intake and exhaust. i'll even sell u my greddy evo2 and injen cai and u can be off to a good start. i'll even sell u the skunk2 shift **** as well!!! haha, i'm really just trying to get rid of this stuff to a single individual so i dont have to ship multiple packages

as fas as performance and the lack thereof, after removing my intake and exhaust and putting everything back to stock... it was like driving an ex compared to what i was used to. the sound difference was just sad. the I/E made it sound so much nicer. i would definitely go ahead and get the I/H/E and then do the reflash.
