Default worried bout burning oil :(

well ever since i got my car back from the body shop. i can smell...not see...smell. the engine burning oil.

it rarely happens, and its only on short spurts too. and it also happens when i'm at WOT.

i knew for a fact for sure that i had an oil leak on my dizzy, cause the o-ring was shot and there was oil all over the place. but now that i took it to a "mr lube" oil changer type deal, they said that i have an oil leak on my oil pan and head gasket.

so which leads me to see that the head gasket might be going.

also there is no smoke coming out the tail pipe either.

Is it dripping on your exhaust somewhere maybe?

You think you'd see smoke though somewhere if it was.

What happened with me is it was leaking from my oilpan right below the Oil filter so it would drip slowly on my b pipe, but mine smoked.

Check all the little things 1st, let it idle and see if u smell it and look to see if anythings dripping. pull the plugs, see if theres oil on any of them, im having the same problem with my d16, 1 plug was covered in oil i found my reason for the smell.

Its either rebuild the motor (if you have the time and resources), buy a new motor, or just run it till it dies and ignore and smells, booms, or metal to metal sounds
