b18 out of 96 teg direct swap into 96 hatch???
i got a good deal on a B18B1 out of a 96 ls teg i was just wondering what all i have 2 do to get this thing wokring 100% properly. can i use my stock mounts.... can i us my stock harness....will the B series axles work on my hubs??? any help would be appericated and any 1 that has done this swap....anything that's a pain 2 do??? thanks.
You'll need:
99-00 Civic Si rear tranny mount (the one that attaches to the car)
99-00 Civic Si or 96-01 CRV timing belt mount (two bolt fork that attaches to timing cover)
OBD2A P75 ecu
The axles will work, the rest of your stock mounts will work.
For the harness, you'll need to extend the primary and secondary O2 sensor wires on your factory harness, and you'll need to clip off the intake manifold portion of the B18B1 harness and mate it onto your factory harness.
