Default Apexi WS weld

I bought a used Worldsport yesterday and one of the piping looked weird to me... take a look...

to me it looks like it has been modified.... is it?

What car do you have?

Because I bought a WS2 for a 94-99 GSR and my car was a 99GS and the length was totally different because of the header length of the 2. I had to modify my WS and **** was like 100 bucks lol

Maybe has been rewelded, but then again maybe not. Does the paint look new or fresh?

I'm sure apexi just buys a generic resonator, sizes one to fit the exhaust/application and welds the correct flanges to make it fit the application.

Very common concept that is used in design & construction of specific components for specific applications.


short answer: looks stock to me.

maybe theyre just one of those fat 1" thick metal O ring flanges that go in between the both of them. i have world sport2 but i cant remember to save my life

is that a ws1 or ws2? cuz i had a ws1 and the pipe welds looked exactely like yours.

it's a WS1... the more i look at it, it looks like it wasn't modified...

the whole exhaust system was spray painted flat black

I'm gonna match it up to a full LS exhaust to see if it'll be the right length... I'll post some pics of it on the car later
