Weird Noise from Timing Belt?
I thought this was kind of a common issue with cars but i can't seem to find a thread that will help me out so here's my issue.
When my car is left for awhile and it's cold it will squeel. After i drive for a bit it goes away, but now that winter is getting closer it lasts longer and seems to be getting louder (i guess because it's getting colder).
I opened the hood and tried to listen and it seems to be coming from the timing belt. The belt itself and everything else looks fine to me.
A friend heard said that if you spray soap on it, it goes away no problem. I just wanted a second opinion from you guys though.
