Default can you lower the volume of your car alarm?

i dont know what kind of alarm i have but whenever i lock or unlock the car, the sound is very loud and annoying, is there any way to soften the sound? is it possible to adjust the volume thanks in advance guys

depends on your alarm model i would assume, contact the company that makes it. or at least ask in the audio/video/security forum, and make sure you put the make and model of your alarm.

You can disable the "chirp" on most alarms.

On most alarms the is a Silent arming. Sometimes you have to push a certain button before locking. Could always put a resistor inline to tone down the whole process...

you can adjust the volume but why do u want to lower the volume when u can just press the silent button before turning it on/off cause if you lower it the less you can hear you car when its getting jacked

i have a python and before pressing lock/unlock i press aux....try that if u have that button
